know UK alumni are

UK is competing against five other Kentucky universities for, well, bragging rights. Our goal is to win the Kentucky Challenge and to prove, once again, that our alumni are the best in the Commonwealth!
What does it take to win?
That honor goes to whichever university has the largest percentage of
their recent alumni participating by making a contribution. If you received
your undergrad degree between 1995 and 2004, ANY gift will help
us win! It’s not how much you contribute but how many of
you participate. So, call up your fellow classmates and encourage them
to join you in giving back to UK!
But this isn’t just a contest between universities. We want to see
which UK college can
achieve the highest alumni participation rate as well. You can check the
web
site to see which one is in the lead. Will it be your college? Check
back and see for yourself.
You decide what your gift supports
You can designate your gift to any area of UK you choose—your college, scholarship funds, a favorite program—it’s up to you. Your gift will help current and future UK students and improve UK’s national rankings in US News and World Report. That makes your degree that much more valuable.

Supporting UK in the Kentucky Challenge is quick and easy. You can make a tax–deductible gift by:
- calling the Development Office at 800.875.6272.
- mailing a check to Kentucky Challenge, 200 Sturgill Development Bldg, Lexington, KY 40506–0015.
- using your credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) and give a gift online.
- responding to phonathon or direct mail appeals.
You can double your gift to UK
by checking
to see if you and/or your spouse’s employer is a matching gift company.
And, if your spouse is a UK
grad, we can count both of you as donors for a single gift from your household.
