graduates, it’s time to rally!
The Kentucky Challenge is a statewide contest between Kentucky’s public
universities. The competition is based on the number of young alumni – like
you – who make gifts of any size to their alma maters.
It’s been a short time since you left campus. You don’t have to reach too far back to remember the things you enjoyed most about campus. Through the Kentucky Challenge, you can help provide current and future students the opportunity to attend your alma mater, enjoy the Eastern experience and receive a college education.
Eastern’s greatest need is providing more scholarship aid. The Alumni Fund for Scholarships has been developed as a way for alumni to give back to EKU and provide financial assistance for talented and deserving students who receive no other financial aid. Think of it as your “vote of confidence” in Eastern. Tomorrow’s EKU alumni serving as doctors, teachers, safety professionals, scientists and businessmen and women depend on it!
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is supporting EKU’s need for more scholarship aid by providing a dollar for dollar match through the “Bucks for Brains” program. This will help your gift – no matter the size – help twice as many students. Your participation is key to their success! Your participation also helps EKU’s rankings in national surveys such as U.S. News & World Report – increasing the marketability of your degree. Together, we can become #1.
Gifts may be made to any academic department, Colonel Athletics or the Alumni Fund for Scholarships. To participate in this year’s Kentucky Challenge, make your gift online by clicking the EKU logo to your right or go to www.eku.edu, click on “Giving to EKU” and choose “Make a Gift Now.” To make your gift by phone call the Development Office at 859-622-1583 or mail your check payable to the EKU Foundation to:
